It may help to have some proofs available to help quicken the process though, typically:

A copy of your driving licence (including the paper counterpart if a new style)

A copy of a recent utility bill at your current address (dated in the last 3 months)

Your last 3 months bank statements

Your last 3 months payslips

A copy of tenancy agreement if applicable (just the sheets that show names address)
